Would you rather
Ask silly either-or questions and explain your choice.
You'll need
- Just your imaginations
How to play
- Ask a silly question, like ‘Would you rather ride a dragon or a dolphin?’
- Listen to the answer and ask why.
- Take turns asking.
- Make up the wildest one you can.
Try saying this
“Would you rather have a jumping carpet or a flying bed?”
Your part
Ask and answer with equal silliness. Listen to the reasons they give, and accept their choices.
If it stalls
- Offer a more concrete choice like two snacks.
- Ask them to create a question for you.
Short on time? Three questions each.
Why it's good for them: Giving reasons for a choice builds clear thinking and language.
Not this one? Try animal charades, treasure hunt, snap.
